ACT UP Co-Founders Reunion at United Nations Plaza!

Before the AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power held it's first official meeting or staged the initial protest on Wall Street, Steven Crouch and I were active fighting HIV in New York City.

Once ACT UP got off the ground and began to change the course of the epidemic, Steven and participated in many meetings and actions together.

We ran into each other today the farmers' market at United Nations Plaza and I also met his hubby Jim Wallace, who snapped this great photo of Steven and I. [CORRECTION: They're not married to each other.]

Yep, we two queers are still here, alive and thriving, enjoying San Francisco and when necessary acting up for love and life!

Congratulations men. I was so glad to meet you when I joined June 22, 1987. Glad we are all still around. I still attend ActupNY meetings after 30 years. End AIDS Now
