John Lithgow Narrates 'Peter & the Wolf'

He made an impression not only on me but also the members of the Academy Awards when he played Roberta Muldoon the transgender football player in "The World According to Garp". He received a best supporting Oscar nomination for the role. That is one of my favorite John Lithgow film performances and I've longed to see him live since the 1970s.

Mike and I tomorrow, Saturday, December 14, will finally have the opportunity to be entertained by Lithgow when we attend the 4 pm performance of "Peter and the Wolf", which he'll narrate as the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra playing Sergei Prokofiev's music.

Tickets are available for the 1 pm and 4 pm concerts at Davies Symphony Hall. Click here for more info and to purchase tickets for what will surely be a superbly fun time with Lithgow and the young musicians.
