Jamaican Exile at Stonewall Rum Dump:
Happy With Boycott

Kudos to all the folks who turned out at yesterday's rum dump at the historical Stonewall Inn on Christopher Street in NYC.

There are three reports from the action to check out. Joe Jervis of Joe.My.God. and Wayne Anderson of WorldofWonder sites were there, so was Wayne Besen, the man behind the BoycottJamaica.org site.

The New York Times' City Room blog noticed other blogs paid attention to the rum dump.

Wayne Besen spoke with a gay Jamaican exile now living in the USA, who escaped serious injury and potential death when his home was set on fire. The young gay Jamaican man talks about his experiences living in his country and fleeing for his life. He also is a supporter of the boycott effort.
