My big homo hero - Harvey Fierstein - has favorited my Tweet to him promoting the petition urging Michael Tilson Thomas to dedicate the San Francisco Symphony's concert on September 11 to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Russians.
On the program this Wednesday is gay Russian composer Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky's piano concerto, making the evening very appropriate for a dedication to Russia's LGBT citizens in this hour of need.
