Hiatus Interruptus: For Anna Magnani

Let's get back to blogging. I've got a few things to say about the usual suspects in Gay Inc and the state of the movement. More posts to follow soon enough.

In the meantime, I want to share a snippet from Roberto Rossellini's classic neo-realist film "Open City." It's the heartbreaking scene in which the great Anna Magnani chases after her partisan lover and is shot by a German soldier.

Just a small dose of inspiration for stepping back up on my soapbox.

Who's the partisan lover played by? He's gorgeous.

Damn... When I see things like this, albeit fictional representations of the real tragedy, I feel that Germany still has not paid enough for its scourge.
