Obama Said 'John' 25 Times,

McCain Never Said 'Barack'

Here are two tid-bits from tonight's presidential debate that I find very telling, about how each man not only debated, but how he viewed his sparring partner and how he comports himself when addressing those who oppose him.

Sen. Barack Obama used McCain's first name 25 times. Showing what? That he acknowledges his opponent as an individual, and gives respect to the man just by addressing him directly by name.

But Sen. John McCain never uttered the name Barack once. What does that tell me? That he couldn't extend a simple conversational courtesy to Obama. He simply wasn't programmed to relax and let go of his anger, which he had too much of tonight.

Seeing McCain battle from Ole Miss, giving us another scary glimpse of how he'd act on the world stage with adversaries, is more reason to make sure he remains in the Senate.
