Supe Sics Sheriff on Sissy
Over Pic in Public Pissroom
After participating in the Human Rights Commission meeting on Thursday evening
on the fourth floor of City Hall, I stopped by Scott Wiener's office on
the second floor to check out the fundraiser he was holding on behalf
of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, pictured. The Sisters are soliciting money
to create an altar at the AIDS Memorial Grove in Golden Gate Park to
their deceased Sisters.
I had barely walked into Wiener's
office before his aide Adam Taylor get in my face and said I had to
leave. The reason why had to do with publishing the photo I snapped of Wiener in a public restroom at City Hall in October. Wiener was pissed to see me and didn't hide his displeasure, pictured.
Taylor
claimed it was "inappropriate" to use the photo on my blog, a
contention I disagreed with and I took photos of the office fundraiser.
Taylor called the sheriff's office to request that I be escorted from my
Supervisor's office, but not before I shot this short video.
Once I was through photographing the party, I left and soon this deputy found me in a hallway as I was on my way out of the building. He had to wand me the day before when I entered City Hall to speak at the Police Commission meeting, so were familiar with each other and our interaction was friendly.
As a District 8 voter, I didn't like this
treatment by Wiener and Taylor one bit, but such is City Hall life under Wiener.
