Our Campaign Signs Look Fab in Home Windows
By Todd Swindell and Michael Petrelis
The heatwave San Francisco is suffering through is not stopping #VotePetrelis voters and donors in District 8 from showing their support in their home windows.
Our friend Paul Isaacs requested a few of our union-made window signs and buttons last week, and he's now displaying three of the signs facing the street for voters to see.
Paul is such a sweetie. Not only has he made a generous donation to our DIY Democracy effort, publicly shown his backing from his home on 14th Street, he's also posted a few photos here: http://tinyurl.com/PaulIsaacs-FB-page.
We extend a hearty thank you to him, and also wish to point out how well our campaign signs accentuate the lavender color scheme of his home's exterior!
We are deeply grateful to the three supporters who recently made contributions to our D8 alternative candidacy.
The people who donated are Carmella Barry, who gave $25 in the form of a check; Ed Sikov, and his $50 that came via our PayPal account; and Paul Isaacs, pictured, who also used PayPal and sent $150.
All of the $225 we received will be put to good use on campaign posters and buttons. We'll let you know when we have those outreach materials available for you to put in windows or wear.
Information about donating is in our About box on the upper left of our Facebook campaign site. Thank you, Carmella and Ed and Paul, from the #ILikeMikeSF team!
