SF Pol Opines on Threats to Human Rights Budget

(Credit: Daryl Bush, SF Chronicle.)

The elected official who is at the center of comments made by San Francisco Human Rights Commission director Theresa Sparks, pictured, that he threatened her agency's budget, if they held a meeting on the Castro rainbow flag, has responded to his critics.

Using Facebook, the elected official opines about his telephone conversations with Sparks. You can read his reactions and view screen grabs of his messages on Facebook here, at the WeLikeMike blog operated by my friend Todd Swindell.

Minutes from three HRC meetings where the conversations between the elected official and Sparks were brought to light by Sparks and of great concern to the members of the commission, are available here.
