For a news organization- the editors and writers are the least paid bunch of the group, yet are the core of the mission. The organization had a $5 million budget for the FY 2010 and they spent more than 30 percent of that budget on "consultants" that had nothing to do with producing content. Add in the CEO's salary (another 8%) and you can see that much of the original $5 million didn't contribute to the mission of the org.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5141703.post-49549533814000370862011-09-26T11:41:51.155-07:002011-09-26T11:41:51.155-07:00have no idea what you're talking about, and ho...have no idea what you're talking about, and hope you'll provide more details. there needs to be a lot more transparency from the bay citizen.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08359712473083091475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5141703.post-77834207770918593672011-09-26T11:22:09.657-07:002011-09-26T11:22:09.657-07:00Perhaps they don't want to publish the $1 mill...Perhaps they don't want to publish the $1 million+ kick back to McKinsey for all of the "pro bono" work in getting the rag up and runningAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
