In February, EQCA told Matt Baume that a repeal wasn't even on the radar. This is reflected in one of his Feb. video reports on Prop 8.

Some 6 weeks later, it announced with some fanfare the need for a conversation to consider whether to repeal. Now, if they were at all serious about this, they would have had to be actively working to get things in place in 2010. They did nothing. They certainly wouldn't be first raising the issue 18 months before the election and only 6 weeks after they had admitted that it wasn't even on the radar.

The whole thing was kabuki theater. One wonders if they raised any money off of the false expectations of a 2012 repeal.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5141703.post-26562062379872731492011-05-22T22:32:26.240-07:002011-05-22T22:32:26.240-07:00glad to learn there was live blogging of a well-at...glad to learn there was live blogging of a well-attended forum. always good to see more communication and especially regarding the EQCA roadshow across the state. i hope lots of folks in LA and other areas take the time to write up their own blog reports.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08359712473083091475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5141703.post-21639013465368666202011-05-22T22:12:52.819-07:002011-05-22T22:12:52.819-07:00Aren't you sweet??!!
